Daeth Becky o Lyfrgell Wrecsam i mewn heddiw i siarad am Her Ddarllen yr Haf.   Roedd y plant mor frwdfrydig am y gwobrau a’r sialens. Gobeithio bydd llawer o’n disgyblion yn gallu manteisio ar y cyfle arbennig yma.

Becky from Wrexham Library came in today to talk about the Summer Reading Challenge.  The children were very enthusiastic about the rewards and the challenge. Hopefully many of our pupils will take advantage of this opportunity.

Daeth grŵp Agor y Llyfr i’r ysgol i rannu stori arbennig o’r Beibl gyda’r plant. Roedd y stori yn sôn am ddyn oedd wedi’i barlysu ac na allai gerdded. Roedd ganddo bedwar ffrind caredig a phenderfynol a wnaeth bopeth posibl i’w helpu i gyrraedd Iesu. Gan fod y tŷ yn llawn pobl, fe wnaethon nhw agor y to a gostwng eu ffrind i lawr at Iesu! Roedd y plant wrth eu bodd yn dysgu am ofal ffrindiau, meddwl am ddatrysiadau, dyfalbarhad, ac am sut y gwnaeth Iesu wella’r dyn. Diolch yn fawr i Agor y Llyfr am ymweliad diddorol a chofiadwy, ac i’r plant am fod mor frwdfrydig wrth gymryd rhan.

The Open the Book group came to the school to share a special Bible story with the children. The story was about a man who was paralysed and unable to walk. He had four kind and determined friends who did everything possible to help him reach Jesus. As the house was full of people, they opened the roof and lowered their friend down to Jesus! The children really enjoyed learning about caring friendships, thinking of solutions, perseverance, and how Jesus healed the man. A big thank you to Open the Book for an interesting and memorable visit, and to the children for being so enthusiastic in taking part.

Alarch Class were busy preparing for the class election last week! The children had a number of great ideas, including no smoking in the park, that everyone should exercise every Sunday for 20 minutes, that everyone in Wales should learn how to say “Bore da,” and that once a month communities should help collect rubbish from the sea.

Ymunodd Dosbarth Alarch â Joe Wicks ar gyfer sesiwn ymarfer corff hwyliog ac egnïol i ddathlu Mental Health Awareness Week!

Roedd y plant yn symud, yn ymestyn ac yn ymarfer gyda’i gilydd, wrth ddysgu sut y gall cadw’n actif helpu i wella ein hwyliau, meithrin gwytnwch a chefnogi ein lles meddyliol. Roedd Dosbarth Alarch yn gyffrous i gymryd rhan yn y digwyddiad ysbrydoledig hwn ledled y wlad ac i fwynhau manteision symud, gwaith tîm a phositifrwydd gyda’i gilydd.

Dosbarth Alarch joined Joe Wicks for a fun, high-energy workout to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week!

The children were moving, stretching and exercising together, while learning how keeping active can help boost our mood, build resilience and support our mental wellbeing. Dosbarth Alarch were excited to take part in this inspiring nationwide event and enjoy the benefits of movement, teamwork and positivity together.

Mae disgyblion Blwyddyn 2 a 3 wedi bod yn brysur yn casglu gwybodaeth am siaradwyr Cymraeg yn yr ardal leol. Aethant am dro i’r siopau yn Borras er mwyn darganfod faint o bobl oedd yn gallu siarad Cymraeg, ac hefyd i’w hannog a’u cefnogi i ddefnyddio’r iaith Gymraeg yn y siopau. Edrychwch allan am eu posteri yn y siopau.

Year 2 and 3 pupils have been busy collecting information about Welsh speakers in the local area. They went for a walk to the shops in Borras to find out how many people were able to speak Welsh, and also to encourage and support them to use the Welsh language in the shops. Look out for their posters in the shops.
